Terms
Effective October 6, 2026.
These terms are an agreement with Quote Rocket LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Range Examiner is a name of that company. The terms cover the iOS app and rangeexaminer.com, and using either one means you accept them. They are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Questions go to privacy@shotexaminer.com. The privacy page describes the information the service keeps.
A range record
Range Examiner records impacts you enter or confirm. A tap is an estimate until you confirm a scaled photo. Group measurements require a known target size and distance. The app does not replace a live zero or a safe firing line.
You are responsible for safe and lawful firearm handling. You assume the risk of relying on a range record at the firing line. Quote Rocket LLC is not liable for injury, death, or property damage that comes from that use.
License
Quote Rocket LLC grants you a personal license to use the app. Pro features stay available while the subscription is active. The website describes the product. It does not sell digital training content.
Pro
Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold by Apple inside the iOS app. Annual is $29.99 and monthly is $2.99, unless the App Store price in your region differs. There is no free trial. An Examiner Suite, when Apple offers it, is a separate subscription that can include Shot Examiner and Hunt Examiner.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Canceling the subscription does not delete the account. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription. We may end an account that breaks these terms. Ending the account does not refund a current Apple period.
Age
You must be at least 13 to use Range Examiner. You are also responsible for meeting the age required to handle a firearm where you are.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continuing to use the app or the site after that date changes means you accept the update.
